Why it matters

Refund leakage is easy to miss

Refunds are a normal part of selling online. The risk is the quiet pattern inside them: amounts that do not line up with the order, refunds repeated for the same order, or activity that jumps compared with the previous period. Spreadsheets rarely surface these early.

Hidden in everyday volume

Individual refunds look routine. Patterns only appear when activity is compared over time.

Hard to verify by hand

Matching refunds to orders and returns across a busy store takes hours of manual checking.

Worth a second look

AVERYNZA flags potential leakage with the evidence attached so you can decide what to review.

How it works

From install to insight in four steps

01

Connect your Shopify store

Install from Shopify with read-only access to order and return data.

02

Analyze refund activity

Deterministic calculations measure refunded amounts, refund rates and unusual patterns.

03

Review evidence

Each signal shows the figures behind it so you decide what deserves a closer look.

04

Keep monitoring

New Shopify events are analyzed continuously so changes surface as they happen.

Our approach

Every finding starts with evidence.

Application logic calculates the financial values, and each potential signal is connected to available Shopify transaction evidence for your review.

Evidence, not accusations

Findings are potential leakage signals that require merchant review. AVERYNZA never labels customers or staff.

Deterministic numbers

Every amount comes from your Shopify data through fixed application calculations.

Read-only by design

AVERYNZA does not issue refunds, edit orders, change products or touch payments.

Minimal data

Direct contact details are stripped from webhooks; customer IDs are retained for matching and privacy requests.

Questions, answered clearly

What is refund leakage?
Refund leakage describes potential discrepancies or unusual patterns in refund, order and return activity that may warrant a closer operational review.
How does AVERYNZA work?
After you connect Shopify, you explicitly start an analysis. AVERYNZA imports the Shopify order history available to its existing read-only permissions, calculates metrics and potential signals, then shows the evidence and review guidance. New activity is received through Shopify webhooks.
Does AVERYNZA modify my Shopify store?
No. The app requests read-only order and return access. It does not create refunds, edit orders or products, or change payments.
Does AVERYNZA need customer names or contact details?
The app is designed not to store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses. Shopify customer IDs may be present in webhook records and can be used to group related activity.
How far back can the free analysis look?
The analysis imports up to the order history Shopify makes available under the current permissions, which is generally limited to the last 60 days without additional access. Results depend on the history Shopify returns and may be partial when request safety limits are reached.
What happens after the free scan?
When billing enforcement is enabled, the free analysis is available once and a Shopify plan is required for further analysis. Ongoing monitoring is available through a Shopify subscription plan. Subscription behavior follows the app's active billing configuration.
What plans are available?
Starter, Growth, Scale and Advanced offer increasing order capacity. Visit the pricing page for published plan details; Shopify shows the final subscription and trial terms before approval.
Does AVERYNZA guarantee recovery?
No. Potential leakage amounts are review indicators, not recovered revenue or a promise of savings. You decide whether any follow-up is appropriate.
How is merchant data handled?
Data is processed to provide analysis, findings and monitoring. Direct customer contact details are removed from stored webhook payloads. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion details.
